John's really interested in sitting up and seeing what everybody's doing and will sit in the Bumbo for long stretches if there's bustle in the room. Though, his favourite is to be held in my lap in a standing position (no photo available, yet), where he does bear all of his own weight and/or attempt squats. The Bumbo is also good for foot exploration (no photo available, yet.) Even his swipes at his feet are quickly becoming grasps of his feet.
He's also grasping toys beside and in front of himself.
Not to mention that John's starting to make some progress on creeping along the ground. Some of it's intentional but most of it isn't. Anyway, he's often not quite where I left him when I go to pick him up.
